Do you ever find yourself being more cautious, carefully watching where you step on uneven ground, on the stairs or in unfamiliar places?
Have you wondered how to maintain your stability, confidence and independence as the years go by?
You're not alone, many people experience this.
Balance is a skill, and like any skill it can change over time - but the good news is it can be improved - easily and effectively with the right guidance.
Did You Know?
Balance naturally tends to decline with age, which is why adults over 60 are more vulnerable to trips and falls.
Poor balance isn’t only related to ageing. It can also be influenced by injury, reduced muscle strength, posture, stress, or long periods of inactivity - and it can affect people at any stage of life.
Even from our 50s onwards, changes in balance can begin to limit enjoyment of walking, hiking, cycling, travelling, or simply moving around your home with ease - often due to a growing fear of falling rather than physical inability.

Imagine...
Stepping into each day feeling steady, confident and unrestricted.
Imagine the satisfaction of strengthening a life skill that supports not only your physical wellbeing, but also your self-trust.
And the ripple effect of prioritising your balance and investing in your long-term health and happiness.
If this resonates with you, the Balanced Body Basics workshop awaits.
Focusing on the foundations of balance, it is suitable for those wishing to build confidence, awareness and stability.

What you'll gain from the 3-hour workshop...
A clear understanding of why balance matters and how it supports confidence, mobility, and wellbeing as we age
Insight into the key factors that influence balance, including posture, strength, awareness, and habit
A gentle way to observe and understand your current balance, without judgement
An introduction to simple, effective balance exercises you can practice safely at home
Improved posture and alignment to support ease of movement
Practical guidance on weaving balance into everyday life, so that the benefits extend beyond the workshop
Lasting Change Starts With Small Steady Steps !

Meet Louise...
Hi, I’m Louise. For over 25 years, I’ve been supporting people just like you to move more easily, feel comfortable in their body and enjoy better wellbeing.
Through gentle, tried-and-tested approaches, I’ve helped many people recover from injury, reduce discomfort, and restore strength, balance and ease in their bodies, so they can feel confident about the future.
In my 20s, after a life-altering accident and a year in pain, I was told spinal surgery was my only option. Instead, I chose a different path and that decision changed everything.
Through Yoga, healthy eating, Ki Massage and meditation, my body healed and surgery was no longer needed. Even my consultant encouraged me to keep doing what I was doing!
Today, I bring this same safe, supportive and empowering approach to my classes, workshops and retreats.
People book because they want to...
✔ Feel steadier and more sure-footed in everyday life
✔ Enjoy better balance and renewed confidence
✔ Move with greater ease, comfort, and peace of mind
Here's how the Building Better Balance workshop has helped

Is the Building Better Balance workshop for You?
If you already feel very steady, can comfortably stand on one foot for a full minute and regularly enjoy advanced balance challenges, this workshop may not be what you’re looking for right now.
If you wobble when standing on one foot, feel unsteady during balance exercises (even in a weekly yoga class), or worry about tripping or falling - and would prefer to feel confident and in control - this workshop is for you.
Saturday 21st February 2:00pm - 5:00pm
If it feels right, I look forward to welcoming you.
